  • Spring (Mar–May): best weather + great views
  • Autumn (Sep–Nov): peak season, clear skies
  • Winter (Dec–Feb): possible but cold
  • Monsoon (Jun–Aug): not recommended (rain + slippery trails)
⛰️ Acclimatization & altitude safety
  • Walk slowly and take breaks often
  • Include acclimatization at Mu Gompa
  • Hydrate well and ascend gradually
  • Descend immediately if symptoms worsen

If you feel worse at altitude, the safest decision is usually to descend.
