Most travelers fly. Road to Nepalgunj is possible but tiring.

• Nepalgunj → Juphal: 35–45 min | NPR 4,000–6,000
• Note: Flights are limited and weather dependent

• Kathmandu → Nepalgunj (Public bus): 12–14 hrs | Nepali: NPR 1,500–2,500 | Foreigners: NPR 2,500–3,500
• Departure point: Gongabu / Kalanki Bus Park
• Type: Night bus / Day bus (budget friendly but very tiring)
• Private jeep: 10–12 hrs | NPR 18,000–25,000 (one way)

• There is no road connection to Juphal
• Only access: domestic flight
• Alternative: Trek from Jumla side (very long & advanced)

• Juphal → Nepalgunj: flight only (same cost/conditions)
• Nepalgunj → Kathmandu: flight or road (same as onward)
• Advance booking recommended (peak seasons)

• Flights are frequently delayed/canceled due to weather
• Keep 1–2 buffer days (more is better)
• Early morning flights have higher success rate
